- The funeral services of Mrs. Fanny Needle, who died Friday, will be held at the residence, 437 Seventh street southwest, today at 12:30 o'clock, Rabbi G. Silverston officiating. Three great-grandchildren, 32 grandchildren, 5 sons, and 2 daughters survive. Four of the children -- Max and Sam Needle and Mrs. Rachel Lustine and Mrs. Paul Berenter-- reside in Washington; Two of the sons--Simon and Morris--reside in Baltimore, and one--Hyman Fisher--lives in London. Mrs. Needle was born in Poland, and came to Washington twelve years ago. The burial will take place in the Hebrew Cemetery." From The Washington Post, December 29, 1912, page 13
