    • Samoil Moise, age 81, from Niskayuna, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013 after an extended illness, with his family close by his side. Born in Yasi, Romania to Moise Moise and Ana Leib, Samoil, with the help of his parents, made his way to Israel where he became a pilot in the Israeli Airforce. Sam was then sponsored by the airforce to further his studies in the US where he attended Purdue University in Indiana where he met his wife. Together they moved to California where Sam graduated from Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, with a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering. Sam was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, and General Electric for the majority of his career. He then started SARC Information Services, Inc. which provided environmental engineering services to companies nationwide, helping them to comply with OSHA and other environmental regulations.
