- Nathan Suskin, 93, formerly of New Bern, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, in Wilson. He graduated as the valedictorian of his high school class and is remembered by relatives as having been the smartest and best-looking member of his family.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hebrew Cemetery in New Bern.
He is survived by two nieces, Jennifer Williams of Rocky Mount and Patricia McCall of Dover, Del.; four great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
