- Beverly Rashbaum (nee Smulson), of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at the age of 94. She is survived by her loving daughter, Ellen (Cary) Reines; beloved grandchildren, Jamie (Justin) Howell and Allison (Jonathan) Zygielbaum; and her cherished great grandchildren, Sloane Howell, Luke Howell, Jack Howell, Maya Zygielbaum and Olivia Zygielbaum; caring sister-in-law, Fran Kessler. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Gerald Rashbaum; loving son, Bruce Rashbaum, and dear parents, Harry and Rae Smulson.
Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who cherished the people in her life. She had a warm and welcoming spirit, always bringing joy to those around her. She loved playing cards, with bridge being her favorite, but she also enjoyed canasta and mahjong. Some of her fondest moments were teaching her grandchildren how to play War, sharing laughter and creating lasting memories. Beverly was a special woman—bright, talented, creative, and truly amazing. She had a warmth that made everyone feel welcome and a beautiful smile that could light up any room. Beverly was known for her thoughtful nature, always sending cards to celebrate birthdays, weddings, and offer support during medical challenges, leaving a lasting impact on all who received her kind words. Beverly’s kindness, love, and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
