- Wife of Newman (Nochum) Markell, who was the twin brother of John (Kasriel) Markel (note the different spelling of the surname used by the two brothers). Newman was a traveling eye-glass salesman. He died in Atlanta in 1940 and his body was sent back to Baltimore for burial (presumably in this cemetery) but no grave marker was ever erected. John and his wife Anna Leah Markel are buried in the same plot with Clara (and presumably Newman, with unmarked grave).
