- Jill Robyn Trivas, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at the age of 59. She is survived by her loving husband, Alan L. Cohen; children, Isabella Annette Cohen and Francesca Mary Cohen; sister, Brooke Trivas (Thomas Saltsman), brother, Ross Trivas; sister-in-law, Debbie Cohen; mother, Sandy Desser; step-father, Leonard Desser; nieces, Parker Saltsman and Cameron Saltsman and uncle, Dr. Barry (Barbara) Gould. She was predeceased by her son, Dylan Max Cohen.
Jill was a fierce advocate for the thousands of people she represented for 28 years in the felony division of the Baltimore City Public Defenders Office. She was the undisputed best dresser in the Baltimore City Circuit Court for her entire career. Jill loved to travel and enjoy other cultures in Malawi, Zambia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, North & South Vietnam, India, China, France & Israel.
