- On April 16,2016 Keith A. Markel passed away. He was the beloved son of Beverly Markel and the late Lee A. Markel; devoted father of Carrie Barrick (Matthew) and Stephanie Markel; dear brother of Bryan Lee Markel and Vicki Ferguson (James); loving grandfather of Mackenzie Barrick; he is also survived by many other loving friends and family including the mother of his children, Patricia "Patty" Markel.
