- Louis S. Erkes, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away on Monday, February 12th, 2024, at the age of 86. He is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Ellen Erkes (nee Kaplan); devoted children, Mitchell (Jo) Greenberg and Jamie (Steven) Sherman; and adoring grandchildren, Casey Greenberg, Jessica Greenberg, Sydney Greenberg, Wyatt Sherman, Dex Sherman, and Scarlett Sherman. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Erkes; and parents, Meyer and Irene Erkes.
Services at Sol Levinson's Chapel, 8900 Reisterstown Road, Pikesville, MD 21208, on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024, at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Beth El Memorial Park. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to Camp Simcha, 151 West 30th Street, New York, NY 10001 or Make-A-Wish America, 4742 N. 24th Street, Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016. The family will be in mourning at 17 Marcie Woods Court, Pikesville, Maryland 21208, through Friday.
