- On December 13, 2015, Bette Davis Cohen; beloved wife of the late H. William Cohen; loving mother of Jill Levy von Hartmann (Paul Rogers), William D. (Victoria Landise) Levy, Stanley A. (Elizabeth Holmes) Levy; cherished step-mother of Barbara (Kuniharu) Kubodera and Laurie Cohen; loving sister of Paul H. (Alice R. Hoffman) Davis, and the late Dr. Marvin H. Davis; adored Grandma of Katherine Davis Levy, Nicholas Levy (fianceé, Quinn Cowley), Emily Rossi (Michael) Vermylen, and Ben Rossi; beloved Bettegram to Nate Rogers and Alexandra Rogers; proud great-grandmother of Anna Elizabeth Vermylen; devoted companion of Sander L. Wise. Bette is also survived by nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
Throughout her life, Bette demonstrated her love and caring for others through her work with families and young children at Johns Hopkins Kennedy Kreiger Institute. Bette was Vice President and Trustee of the Morton & Sophia Macht Foundation, Inc., and was extremely proud of the good work they continue to accomplish. Throughout her life, Bette loved travel, theater, art, books and gardening, but most all Bette loved her family and friends.
Services at SOL LEVINSON & BROS., INC., 8900 Reisterstown Road, at Mount Wilson Lane on Wednesday, December 16, at 4 pm.
