- Gertrude Greenberg Peacefully on Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at the age of 100. Gertie was predeceased by her husband Sol in 1958; her daughter Marion in 1984 and her son-in-law Jacob in 1978. She will be sadly missed by her granddaughters, Debbie and Susan (whom she thought of as her children) great-grandchildren, Tommy, Nikki and Jared; her son Lionel and his family of Los Angeles and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service to be held on Thursday, September 21 at 1:00 p.m. at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Armstrong and Main Street. Published in the Winnipeg Free Press on September 20, 2000
