- Lowell Manning Dryzer "Papa" of Dallas, Texas passed away on November 6, 2010. Born in Asheville, North Carolina to Hyman and Elma Dryzer, Lowell was a long time resident of Dallas. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Lowell served his country as a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Lowell was also a manufacturer's representative, stock and real estate investor, as well as a member of Temple Emanuel and the Brookhaven Country Club. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ruth; sons, Steven and Scott, and grandchildren, Sadye, Sarah, Danielle, Michael and Lauren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2010 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Highway Chapel with graveside services to follow.
