  	Ruth Sandra Agranoff Dryzer, born August 18, 1929 in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, as the only child of Rabbi Morris Agranoff and Lillian Katz Agranoff, peacefully passed away at her home in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Ruth enjoyed telling stories of her early childhood in Minnesota, and later in Dallas where the family moved when her father received a position as a Rabbi at Shearith Israel. Ruth graduated salutatorian from Forest Avenue High School, salutatorian with a bachelor’s degree from SMU and later matriculated to California where she earned a master’s degree at USC. She later worked in Los Angeles, both as a probation officer and social worker. While returning to Dallas to visit her parents, she met her future husband, Lowell, whom she married in 1956. They were married for 54 years until his death in 2010. Ruth worked together with Lowell in the clothing business for many years, both as a salesperson and at their showroom at the Apparel Mart. Ruth was also a licensed real estate agent for Fred Misko Realtors for over 30 years. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her sons and their families as follows: Steven, his wife Kelly, and his twin daughters, Sadye and Sarah, and Sarah’s husband Austin; Scott, his wife Lynn, and their three children Danielle, Michael and Lauren. Ruth’s graveside funeral service will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at 12:30p.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 7405 W. Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75225.
